Becoming a Nutrition Advisor

A primary responsibility of the NAG and its members is to provide nutrition advice to exotic species groups.  The responsibilities of a nutrition advisor are specified on our Membership Information page.

The group needs members that will dedicate themselves to the advancement of Nutrition and Feeding Practices within AZA institutions and want to be involved with animal nutrition research and animal conservation.

Membership in the advisory group requires both a firm background in animal nutrition and animal care, as well as a commitment to helping others.
